Deposit first. Inspect the return.

Reservation, secured deposit, custody tag, return inspection, damage claim. The till stays refused until Stripe authorizes the deposit on the reservation. Not a storefront. Not a hotel.

Hanging tags. Serialized kits. No anonymous gear.

Every asset leaves with a custody tag: serial, kit list, outgoing still. A reservation with no captured deposit cannot leave Bay 01. A return with no inspection cannot clear Bay 03.

Secure the deposit

Hold the reservation. Then the bay opens.

The till cannot type a price. Stripe Checkout charges the reservation deposit the server already knows. An unpaid row stays refused. A return with no inspection is not released.

  1. Stripe CheckoutCard on Stripe. Amount from the reservation deposit row.
  2. Server totalKit, window, and hold sit on the ticket. No typed amount on the till.
  3. AuthorizedStripe marks the deposit held. Then Bay 02 can seal outgoing custody.

Hold the deposit. Tag the kit. Grade the return.
